There are so many great classic rock tunes! How do you narrow them down to the top 10 positive and uplifting classic rock songs of all times? Unfortunately they can’t all make the list.

In fact, here are a few honorable mentions that come to my mind…

  • Here Comes the Sun — George Harrison
  • Dream On — Aerosmith
  • It’s My Life — Bon Jovi
  • Roll With It — Steve Winwood
  • Imagine — John Lennon
  • Believer — Ozzy Osbourne
  • Running Down a Dream — Tom Petty

For now, please enjoy this list, and let me know what you think in the comments below…

10. Don’t Stop (Fleetwood Mac)

The 4th track on Fleetwood Mac’s album Rumours, released in 1977.

“Don’t Stop” reflects Christine McVie’s feelings after her separation from Fleetwood Mac’s bass guitarist, John McVie, after eight years of marriage. “‘Don’t Stop’ was just a feeling. It just seemed to be a pleasant revelation to have that ‘yesterday’s gone’,” she remembers in The Fleetwood Mac Story: Rumours and Lies, “It might have, I guess, been directed more toward John, but I’m just definitely not a pessimist.” (emphasis mine)

The 9th track on Van Halen’s album For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge, released in 1991.
